At Airway Driving School, we strive to help students of any age learn to drive. Whether you are new to Connecticut, have years of driving experience, or have no experience behind the wheel, we are here to help. We offer the 8-hour Drug and Alcohol Course, behind-the-wheel lessons, and license testing options for adults.
The state of Connecticut requires anyone who wishes to drive to get a learner’s permit. As of 2013, adults age 18 and over must obtain an Adult Learner Permit (ALP) through the DMV. Click here to learn how to obtain an ALP.
In order to take a license test, students must complete an 8-hour Drug and Alcohol Course and have a valid ALP for a minimum of 90 days. Please note that testing eligibility is on the 91st day.
